Atalanta vs Napoli prediction 22.02.2026 | Serie A

Atalanta come into Sunday´s Serie A contest after slipping to a 2:0 defeat against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League earlier this week. Raffaele Palladino's side to create in the final third as the Germans earned a well-deserved win at Signal Iduna Park.

Before their defeat in Germany, La Dea had won three successive domestic fixtures, including an impressive 2:0 road win at Lazio last weekend. 

High-scoring outcomes have been frequent in recent fixtures at New Balance Arena. Each of Atalanta´s last four home fixtures finished with at least three goals scored. The same outcome occurred in each of the last five meetings between these sides. 

Head coach Palladino has two confirmed absentees this weekend. Charles De Ketelaere and Giacomo Raspadori are still unavailable for the visitors.

Napoli make the trip to Bergamo after an entertaining 2:2 draw with Roma last weekend. Despite falling behind twice, Alisson Santos´s late goal secured a point for Antonio Conte´s side. 

Gli Azzurri have struggled to find their best form in 2026, with a long injury list taking its toll on the Italian champions. Napoli failed to win eight of their last 11 games played since the start of January.

While usually strong in defence, Conte´s side have been involved in several high-scoring outcomes in the past couple of months. All but one of their last six fixtures finished with over 2.5 goals scored.

Conte has six potential absentees this weekend. Kevin De Bruyne, David Neres, Frank Anguissa and Amir Rrahmani are ruled out, Scott McTominay is doubtful, while Giovanni Di Lorenzo is unavailable.
