Arsenal come into Sunday's EPL clash with renewed confidence after an impressive 4:1 win against Tottenham last weekend. Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyökeres both bagged braces as the Gunners exerted their dominance against their struggling local rivals.

Mikel Arteta's side had endured a disappointing run of results before their win at the Tottenham Stadium. The Gunners had failed to win five of seven previous EPL fixtures.

Still, Arsenal remain dominant in home matches, securing ten wins from 13 home league matches this season. Arteta's side also boast a superb recent record against Chelsea, with eight wins picked up from their last 11 encounters. 

Head coach Aeteta has a few injury issues this week. Max Dowman, Kai Havertz and Ben White are unlikely to feature, while Mikel Merino is ruled out.

Chelsea make the short trip to the Emirates Stadium after a disappointing 1:1 draw against Burnley last weekend. Joao Pedro had given the Blues an early lead at the Bridge but following the dismissal of Wesley Fofana, Zian Flemming's stoppage-time goal secured a shock away point for the relegation-threatened Clarets. 

Having enjoyed an impressive five-game winning run in January, the Blues have since failed to win three of their last five games, including a limp 1-0 defeat against the Gunners in the EFL Cup semi-finals.

Recent performances against Arsenal suggest Chelsea could struggle again this weekend. Liam Rosenior's side lost each of their last five away matches against Arsenal.

Head coach Rosenior is unable to call on several first-team players this weekend. Wesley Fofana is suspended, while Marc Cucurella, Estêvão, Levi Colwill and Jamie Gittens are ruled out. Filip Jørgensen is also expected to remain sidelined.
