Almeria were relegated from La Liga in 2023/24 and failed to return the following year. They finished 6th and entered the playoffs, but eventually failed to come out of it. This season, the Andalusian team is doing better and is currently in 3rd place, tied with Deportivo La Coruna on points for 2nd place. They are generally looking good, and the bookies favor them slightly over La Coruna to secure direct promotion.

Leo Baptistao received a red card in the previous game against Huesca and will be suspended. The 33-year-old winger has scored seven and assisted on two goals in 27 appearances. However, we do not believe his absence will be a major factor, as they have a fairly deep squad, especially up front. Moreover, midfielder Gui Guedes should remain sidelined for the third consecutive match with an injury. 

Real Sociedad returned to La Liga 2, making their way through the Primera RFEF Playoffs. This year, the first few months looked pretty rough, and they looked like a relegation contender. However, as the season progressed, they only looked better. Now, after 31 rounds, they sit in 13th place with 40 points - a comfortable nine points away from the danger zone.
