AC Milan vs Bologna prediction 14.09.2025 | Serie A

Milan face their third Serie A fixture of the season after mixed results in the early weeks of the new campaign. The Rossoneri suffered a shock 2:1 home reversal against recently promoted Cremonese before bouncing back with a 2:0 win at Lecce two weeks ago. 

Led by former Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri, Milan had finished last season in decent form, and they have now recorded victories in six of their last eight league fixtures. 

The hosts picked up a 3:1 win when they last hosted Bologna in May, before their painful 1:0 Coppa Italia final defeat against I Rossoblù.

Head coach Allegri could hand debuts to Christopher Nkunku and Adrien Rabiot after their late arrivals in the transfer window. Rabiot arrived from Marseille after a dramatic brawl with recently acquired Bologna winger Jon Rowe.

Bologna make the trip to the San Siro after picking up their first Serie A victory of the season before the international break. Riccardo Orsolini´s second-half goal secured a 1:0 win against Como for Vincenzo Italiano´s side. 

I Rossoblù began the new season with a frustrating 1:0 defeat on the road against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. Bologna have struggled in recent road games, with four of their last five away Serie A games ending in defeat. 

Bologna will be without Ibrahim Sulemana and Ciro Immobile, with both sidelined through injury. Nicolò Casale and Tommaso Pobega also miss out, while Emil Holm faces a late fitness test. 

New signing Jon Rowe could make his debut, potentially setting the scene for an intriguing reunion with Milan midfielder Rabiot.
