The USA national football team are a seven-time Gold Cup winner and the three-time CONCACAF Nations League winner. However, they had a rough period behind them as they were eliminated in the group phase of the Copa America, finished fourth in the CONCACAF Nations League, and generally had subpar performances. Still, this year in the Gold Cup, the USMNT had a good start, winning all three matches, and are now a favorite to win the duel against Costa Rica and advance to the Semi-Finals.
