Sarpsborg are disappointing this season. Most expected them to be a mid-table team, but Sander Nyland's team are only three points above the relegation zone and could have real problems if their form doesn't improve. Sarpsborg have been terrible lately, with four defeats in a row. In the previous game, they lost 4-0 on the road against Valerenga. The home side was significantly better throughout the game, so it is no wonder guests left empty-handed. 

Sarpsborg are still active in the current transfer window. A few days ago, they signed center back Bjorn Inge Utvik from Vancouver. The defender appeared in 16 MLS games this season. Utvik should fill the gap that was created by Franklin Tebo Uchenna's transfer to Crvena Zvezda. 

Frederik Carstensen, Mohanad Jeahze, and Aimar Sher are injured and will not play against Kristiansund on Monday evening. 

Kristiansund are another team that could have problems with avoiding relegation. They are only one point above the position that will lead to the relegation playoff. Like Sarpsborg, Kristiansund are also in terrible form with seven games in a row without victory. In the last match, they played 2-2 at home against Sandefjord. The home side was close to another defeat, but they scored two goals in the final ten minutes and picked up a valuable point. 

Kristiansund are the third-worst attacking team in the Norwegian football league with 20 goals in 18 league rounds, but there are no reports that Amund Skiri's team could add another forward this summer. 

Alioune Ndour and Michael Lansing are injured and will not play on Monday in Sarpsborg. The good news for Kristiansund is that Wilfred Igor served his suspension and will be available for the upcoming clash.
