Lech Poznań dropped down to Thursday's Europa League qualifier after a Champions League qualification defeat against Dinamo Zagreb. Despite picking up a 1:1 draw in Zagreb last week, Poles fell to a 4:2 aggregate defeat.

Now winless in their last three matches, Lech Poznan had won four successive fixtures before their recent downturn in form.

Frequently involved in entertaining matches, only one of Poznan's last 11 games did not finish with BTTS. 

Head coach Niels Frederiksen is unlikely to make too many changes from the side held to a 1:1 draw against Korona last weekend. The hosts remain unable to call on several first-team players, with Radoslaw Murawski, Ali Gholizadeh and Patrik Wålemark are among those expected to remain sidelined.

Genk make the trip to Poland after claiming a much-needed domestic victory. The Belgians claimed a 2:1 road victory over OH Leuven at the weekend, with Zakaria El Ouahdi bagging twice.

Thorsten Finks men had failed to win any of their first three league fixtures of the new season. 

Defensive issues have been the biggest issue for Genk, with just one clean sheet kept in their last six matches. All five of those games also finished with BTTS. 

Indeed, high-scoring outcomes can usually be expected when Genk are in action. The Belgian visitors have seen over 2.5 goals scored in seven of their last ten matches since the end of May.

Head coach Fink is likely to keep faith with the same side that edged to victory last weekend. Hendrik Van Crombrugge and Daan Heymans are the only confirmed injury absentees for the visitors.
