Al Hilal come into Monday's crunch SPL contest following two successive Saudi Pro League draws on the road. Simone Inzaghi's side were held to a 1:1 stalemate at Al Riyadh last Sunday before playing out an entertaining 2:2 draw away to Al-Qadsiah earlier this week.

Before last week's draws, Al Hilal enjoyed an extraordinary run of 22 consecutive victories in all competitions since mid-September.

Despite their dominant form, Al Hilal have conceded in each of their last five matches, managing just two clean sheets across their previous nine outings.

Inzaghi is expected to rotate his starting XI slightly on Monday, with top scorer Leonardo, who has nine goals in 15 Saudi Pro League appearances, pushing for a return to the attack. The Italian coach has no fresh injury or suspension concerns.

Al Ahli arrive for Monday's Saudi derby in confident form after a commanding 4–0 victory over Al-Ettifaq on Wednesday. Ivan Toney was the standout performer, scoring a hat-trick to take his tally for the season to 24 goals in 25 appearances.

Matthias Jaissle's side are in outstanding form, having won each of their last eight matches, while also finding the net 11 times across their three most recent outings. With the SPL now past the halfway stage, Al Ahli sit second in the table, just three points behind leaders Al Hilal.

Head coach Jaissle is expected to stick with the same starting XI that cruised past Al-Ettifaq, with Ivan Toney set to lead the line after his match-winning display in midweek. Hussein Zakaria, Ali Majrashi and Abdullah Otayf remain sidelined through injury and will miss Monday's contest.
