Feyenoord vs NAC Breda prediction 09.08.2025 | Eredivisie

In the previous season, these teams met twice. At home, Feyenoord won 2:0, and we saw a goalless draw at Rat Verlegh Stadion in Breda. Looking further back, we can see that Feyenoord were, expectedly, a better team, winning five out of the last six games. That mentioned goalless draw in the previous season was the only time NAC Breda avoided defeat during that six-game stretch. 

In the first game of the season, Feyenoord won 2:1 against Fenerbahce and were under 3.5 goals. Despite scoring two goals, they weren't impressive offensively and were lucky to score twice. They only had three shots on target and 0.78 xG. Both teams were combined for only 1.58 xG. Also, last season, Feyenoord weren't among the teams that often went over this line. Only 13 out of their 34 games ended with four or more goals, which is a little over 38%. 

Meanwhile, NAC Breda are definitely not among the better offensive teams in Eredivisie. Last year, they averaged 1.0 goals per game, which is tied with Willem II for the second-worst. And in the transfer window, they lost their three best goalscorers, Omarsson, Sauer, and Kostorz.
