Two sides short on winning form square-off in the Segunda Division this week in a likely low-scoring encounter. 

Hosts Tenerife return to action after suffering a fourth successive defeat on Saturday as they fell to a 2:1 loss against Osasuna in the Copa del Rey. 

A poor run of form in the Segunda Division has seen Alvaro´s men pick up just one point from their last six league matches. However, five of those six games did come on their travels, and the Islanders will be happy to return to Estadio Heliodoro Rodríguez Lopéz where they boast a much better record.

Indeed, while Tenerife have picked up just two points from 11 away league matches this season, the hosts have avoided defeat in five of their last six home fixtures. 

A lack of goals has been the biggest issue for the relegation-threatened hosts who find themselves rooted to the bottom of the division, 12 points from safety. Tenerife scored just five goals across their last ten matches. 

Levante make the trip to Tenerife having suffered something of a dip in form over the past couple of months. Julián Calero´s men were held to draws in each of their last three league fixtures, while they won only two of the previous eight. Levante also failed to net in four of their last six away fixtures.

Historically, this fixture has proven a low-scoring one. Only one of nine previous encounters saw more than three goals scored, and a similarly tight affair seems likely on Tuesday.

Under 2.5 goals is my top tip in Tenerife, in a game that could easily finish deadlocked.
