Millwall will have the chance to break into the top half of the English second division standings when they play host to Bristol City.
The hosts had the chance to make it four successive games without defeat for the first time since November when they visited Premier League side Crystal Palace in the FA Cup 5th round on Saturday afternoon. Alex Neil’s side saw their unbeaten streak come to an end with a 3:1 defeat, but the Lions will take heart from the fact that they played more than 80 minutes of that game with a man down.
Bristol have been in good form in the Championship over the last few weeks. The visitors lost just one of their last seven matches with as many victories as draws (3). However, Liam Manning’s side will be worried with the fact that known of all the three wins was on the road and they are winless in their last nine away games.
Millwall vs Bristol City Betting Tips: Under 2.5 goals
While Millwall boast just three clean sheets from their last nine matches in all competitions, they are not conceding many goals and I don’t think things will change on Tuesday. Indeed, the hosts conceded under one goal in six of their last seven league encounters, with as many games ending with under 2.5 goals.
Bristol City are not also conceding goals at the moment, with the visitors shipping under a goal in five of their last six encounters. All two away games played in that spell ended in 1-1 draws, giving enough reasons to expect a close game on Tuesday.
- Best Tip: Under 2.5 goals
- Millwall vs Bristol City prediction: 1-1

Millwall team news
Liam Roberts is suspended for Millwall on Tuesday after the goalkeeper kicked Jean-Phillippe Mateta in the FA Cup tie on Saturday afternoon.
Lukas Jensen is expected to start in goal and could be shielded by the centre back pair of Jake Cooper and Japhet Tanganga, while Mihailo Ivanović will retain his responsibilities of leading the line.

Bristol City team news
After his side came from a goal down to beat Bristol City last Friday, Liam Manning is expected to resist the temptation to make alterations to his XI.
Tommy Conway’s brace in that encounter means he has now scored ten goals in the Championship this season and the forward is expected to reunite upfront with former Leicester forward Kelechi Iheanacho.
