RB Salzburg vs Club Brugge prediction 06.08.2025 | UEFA Champions League Qualifying

Salzburg turns their attention to the UCL qualifiers after a 2:2 draw against Ried in their opening fixture in the Austrian Bundesliga last weekend. Yorbe Vertessen's goal, deep in stoppage time, rescued a point for Thomas Letsch´side.

Club Brugge make the trip to Austria after a surprising 2:1 defeat against Mechelen in their second league fixture of the campaign. Having begun the campaign with a 2:1 win against Genk on matchday one, last season's runners-up were left empty-handed at Veoliastadion Achter De Kazerne.

Like the home side, high-scoring outcomes have been frequent for the Belgians. Six of Brugge's seven previous matches finished with BTTS. On the road, each of their last four games saw both teams score, while only one of their last seven matches did not see at least three goals scored.

Head coach Nicky Hayen could make some alterations to his selection on Wednesday. Bjorn Meijer and Nicolò Tresoldi are among those who could earn a recall to the first XI.
