Rangers will be looking to secure back to back home wins for the first time since February when they play host to Dundee United on Wednesday night.

The hosts had the chance to end a long run of seven home games without a win against Aberdeen last weekend and they did so in style. After a goalless first half, Barry Ferguson's side scored four goals through Cerny, Dessers, Igamane and Lefte in the second half to record their first win in seven matches. The Gers also kept a clean sheet for the first time in five matches - something that will be a huge motivation ahead of Wednesday's clash with Dundee United.

Dundee aren't quite safe yet, with just five points separating them from the bottom of the Scottish Premiership table. Jim Goodwin's men come into Wednesday's clash on the back of three consecutive defeats during which they conceded ten goals, while also failing to score twice.

Rangers may have found the back of the net three times against Aberdeen last weekend, but it was only the first time in their last eight home games that they scored more than once. All but one of those encounters ended with two goals or fewer.

Dundee United have also been pretty solid defensively on the road of late, keeping two clean sheets in their last three games away from Tannadice Park. They also conceded under two goals in each of their last four away games at Rangers with none of those encounters resulted in more than three goals.
