Adding to their list of challenges ahead of CHAN 2025 is their alarming lack of firepower in the final third, with their solitary goal over the last five matches arriving in a tame 1-1 stalemate against the Central African Republic during their final pre-tournament test.

Guinea will head into the tournament without their marquee names, including Borussia Dortmund star Serhou Guirassy and PAOK midfielder Mady Camara, meaning the spotlight will fall on players from the domestic league.
