- Kickoff: 18:00 UK / 19:00 CEST
- Venue: Stadionul Ilie Oana (Ploiesti)
Spain U19 will look to get through the group stage with an unscathed record when they face already-eliminated Montenegro U19 at Stadionul Ilie Oana on Thursday night.
Although Montenegro U19 entered the tournament with high hopes, their campaign was cut short after just two group-stage fixtures, first falling in a narrow 2-1 battle to host nation Romania before suffering a heavy 5-0 drubbing at the hands of a merciless Denmark side.
When it comes to Spain’s U19 squad, they became the first side to book their ticket to the final four of the UEFA European Championship U-19 after edging Denmark thanks to a lone strike from Izan Merino and comfortably seeing off hosts Romania 3-1 on matchday two.
Montenegro U19 vs Spain U19 Betting Tips : BTTS - NO
Even though a single point would be enough for Spain’s U19s to advance to the knockout stage as group winners, Spain’s U19 squad will settle for nothing less than a victory and we fully expect them to showcase their quality with a impressive display. While La Rojita's victory should not be brought into any debate, we believe it could very well come with a clean sheet, as the Montenegrins seem completely listless and offensively harmless, which they showed best in matchday two when they failed to register a single shot on target and never came close to troubling Denmark's backline. The Little Falcons also weren’t exactly firing on all cylinders in the final third against hosts Romania on matchday one, managing just a pair of efforts and turning one into a goal with a bit of luck, which doesn’t bode well for their chances against Spain’s disciplined and compact defense. The only previous competitive meeting between these junior teams saw Spain outclass Montenegro in a convincing 3-0 triumph, and expectations are high for a repeat performance on Thursday as La Rojita appear superior in every department and poised to control proceedings from start to finish.
Montenegro U19 team news
Following his team’s dismal 5-0 collapse against Denmark on matchday two, coach Nenad Vukcevic is expected to shake things up in the starting XI, especially with qualification hopes already gone.
Most of the changes are expected to come in the back four, with Sutjeska centre-back Bojan Damjanovic potentially stepping in for Aleksa Karadzic, who delivered one of the weakest performances in matchday two.

Spain U19 team news
Spain U19 coach Paco Gallardo made just one change for matchday two, bringing in Peio Huestamendia in midfield for Oscar Marcos — but the latter could now reclaim his spot in the starting eleven.
Out of the four goals La Rojita scored in their opening two EURO U19 matches, Atletico Madrid midfielder Alejandro Monserrate played a starring role, contributing with one goal and two assists.
