Scotland have not yet begun their campaign to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, but the team continue to test themselves in international friendlies in preparation for the key matches ahead. On Monday, Scotland will face Liechtenstein at the Rheinpark Stadion.
The Scots come into this game on the back of an unexpected 3-1 defeat to Iceland at Hampden Park on Friday. It was Scotland’s second successive defeat in all competitions following their 3-0 loss to Greece in their last UEFA Nations League game.
Liechtenstein, on the other hand, have already played almost half of their qualifying matches. They have lost all three of their group games so far, most recently 3-0 against Wales.
Liechtenstein - Scotland Betting Tips: Both Teams to Score - NO
Liechtenstein are not equipped with a lot of attacking talent and generally struggle to score goals, at least against half-decent opponents. They have failed to score in all three of their World Cup qualifiers so far, and only managed one goal against San Marino in their final UEFA Nations League game last year. We're betting on a win for Scotland and expect Liechtenstein to go a fourth game in a row without scoring - a bet on both teams to score (NO).

Three reasons we expect Both Teams to Score - NO
- Liechtenstein have lost all 3 qualifying matches and failed to score in all 3 occasions
- Scotland managed to keep a clean sheet against teams like Croatia, Portugal and Greece, therefore they should keep Liechtenstein’s attacking threat under control too
- Liechtenstein have failed to score in 3 of their last 4 home matches in all competitions
