Internacional will fancy their chances of picking up a positive result when they take on visiting Bahia in Wednesday's Copa Libertadores encounter.

Unbeaten in four matches, Internacional return to home comforts after a hard-fought 1:1 draw against Sport Recife on Sunday. Gustavo Prado's second-half strike secured a point for Roger Machado's side.

While yet to find their best form this season, the Clube do Povo are also unbeaten in each of their last four home fixtures, including a 3:1 Serie A victory against Juventude earlier this month. Over the longer haul, Machado's men won 11 and lost only two of 15 previous home league fixtures since August 2024. 

Internacional also boast a dominant record in recent home fixtures against Bahia. El Colorado scored victories in all but one of their last seven encounters against the visitors in Porto Alegre. 

Bahia come into Wednesday's fixture after a narrow 1:0 defeat at Gremio on Sunday. The Tricolor Bahiaço have now lost four of their last six fixtures, including each of their last three road contests. 

The visitors tend to struggle on the travels with nine defeats suffered in their last 14 away fixtures, and they could again come a cropper this week.
