We are still in July, but the game on Tuesday will be the last in the European competitions for Inter Escaldes or Olimpija Ljubljana. In the first leg, the Slovenian team won 4-2 and is the big favorite to progress in the next phase. 

Andorra teams are slowly progressing, and it will not be surprising if we see some of them in the Conference League group phase in the coming years. After winning their 4th Andorra national league trophy last season, Inter Escaldes had a terrible draw to play against FCSB in the Champions League first qualification round. They played well, but still lost 4-3 on aggregate. Inter Escaldes' journey continued in the Conference League qualifications, where they lost against Olimpija Ljubljana in the first leg, but a strong performance at home against FCSB gives Inter hope that they can still overcome the deficit and progress to the next phase. 

Olimpija Ljubljana started the season in the Champions League qualifications, too, but they were defeated 3-1 on aggregate against Kazakhstani Kairat Almaty. Since then, Olimpija started playing better, winning the next three games in a row, including a 3-0 victory on the road on Saturday against Aluminij. The guests scored two goals in the first eight minutes, and no doubt would take the points in Kidricevo.

Olimpija Ljubljana won 4-2 in the first leg against Inter Escaldes. Both teams have shown very good attacking lines but terrible defenses so far in the season. We should expect another high-scoring game on Tuesday night.
