Crvena Zvezda have won each of the last eight Serbian top-flight campaigns and are well on course to make it nine in a row.

The Red-Whites emerged victorious in all three of their league games so far in the 2025–26 campaign, scoring 12 goals and conceding just one.

Their European journey this season began in the second qualifying round of the Champions League. Vladan Milojević’s team beat Lincoln Red Imps 6:1 over two legs and maintained their good form to beat Lech Poznań 3:1 away in first leg of the third round last week.

With an injury-free squad, hopes are high that this fine form will continue in front of their home fans this week.

Last season, Lech Poznań ended their two-year title drought in the Polish top flight, finishing one point ahead of second-placed Raków Częstochowa.

The Greater Poland team are going to find it difficult to defend their title, as we have already seen. Currently sitting 7th in the 2025–26 league standings after picking up six points from three games, they face a challenging European fixture on Tuesday.

To progress to the Playoffs, Niels Frederiksen’s side must win by at least two goals and hope to finish the job in extra time. One source of motivation for the visitors is that they have won four of their last five away games in Europe.

Radoslaw Murawski, Patrik Wålemark, Daniel Håkans and Bartlomiej Baranski will be unavailable for Lech Poznań this weekend due to injury.
