Blackburn Rovers will be looking to register three consecutive wins for the first this season on Saturday afternoon when they welcome league leaders Leeds United to Ewood Park.
Having beaten Cardiff City 3-1 last weekend, Blackburn travelled to Middlesbrough in midweek hoping to build on that performance and they did just that. John Eustace's side went home with all three points after a narrow 1-0 win thanks to a second-half goal from centre-back Dominic Hyam. Another win this weekend could see the Blue and Whites move into the top six, but they will be concerned that they have lost their last two home games without scoring.
Leeds were just a few steps away from a return to the English top flight last season. The Whites were knocked out of the play-offs after finishing third, but they look set to make amends this term. Daniel Farke's side have only lost twice in the Championship this season and come into this weekend's game with plenty of confidence after winning their last three games by an aggregate score of 9:3.
