- Competition: WC Qualifiers Europe
- Date: Monday, 9th, June 2025
- Kickoff: 19:45 UK / 20:45 CEST
- Venue: King Baudouin Stadium (Brussels)
Belgium will be chasing their first win in the European World Cup qualifiers when they welcome group leaders Wales to King Baudouin Stadium on Monday evening.
Although everything smelled of triumph for Belgium on the opening day of the WC qualifiers, a late equalizer in the 86th minute threw a wrech in their plans and forced them to settle for a frustrating 1-1 draw in Skopje against North Macedonia, so the Red Devils will be looking to make amends quickly.
While the Belgians have only just begun their WC qualifying campaign, Wales have already notched their third qualifier from which they easily pulled off a three-point haul as they stormed to an impressive 3-0 victory over minnows Liechtenstein to go top of Group J with seven points in the bag.
Belgium vs Wales Betting Tips : AH2 (+1,5)
It's true that the Belgians are the favorites on paper, but on the pitch we predict a frenzy battle where the Red Devils will have to dig deep to claim their first win in the World Cup qualifiers, as the Welsh squad won't be an easy bite. There is no doubt that the Belgian national team's footbal has noticeably declined in recent years, which is clearly illustrated by their miserable record of just three posted wins through their previous 12 competitive fixtures, so they will certainly be severely tested by an in-form opponent on Monday. Looking at competitive fixtures, Wales have remained unbeaten for a full two years covering 15 matches in various tournaments, and they have clearly signaled their serious intent to challenge back-to-back World Cup finals after haversted a commendable seven points from the opening qualifying trio. Furthermore, Craig Bellamy's side have been competitive and resilient in recent meetings with Belgium, having been defeated on just two occassions in their last eight H2Hs, which gives us confidence that the well-rounded Dragons can handle the challenge on Monday despite playing away and try to frustrate the already unreliable Red Devils.

Wales team news
After being taken off early in the 24th minute of a strong 3-0 victory against Liechtenstein, Neco Williams is unlikely to start on Monday, with Jay Dasilva expected to take his place.
Aside from one certain change due to injury, manager Craig Bellamy is likely to stick with the squad that secured an impressive seven points from their first three World Cup qualifiers.
