Arsenal will look to continue their good performances in the 2023-24 season when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners fell just short of the Premier League title once again last season. Arteta's side ended the 2023-24 campaign on a run of six successive league wins, beating the likes of Chelsea, Spurs and United in the process, but it wasn't enough as Pep and City went on a nine-match winning streak to secure another title. Despite missing out on the title, Arsenal had the second-best home record in this division and their fans will be hoping for more of the same from Saturday onwards.
Wolves have now avoided relegation for six successive seasons. The Wanderers finished 14th last season, their worst finish in this division since 2003-04 but they played some entertaining games and are capable of causing problems for any side on their day.
Arsenal vs. Wolves betting tips: Arsenal to win & over 2.5 goals
The last six meetings between these two sides have been dominated by the Gunners. Arsenal won all six encounters, scoring nine goals and conceding just one in the three games played at the Emirates.
Wolves finished 13th in the Premier League away record last season and didn't have much to cheer about in pre-season either. They did beat Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, but then suffered defeats to the likes of Rayo Vallecano and Palace.
- Best Tip: Over 2.5 goals
- Arsenal vs Wolves prediction: 2-1
