- Venue: Eleda Stadion (Malmö)
After a 3:1 for the Malmo, the Swedish champs will welcome the Georgian champs, Iberia 1999, in the second leg of the Champions League Qualifiers first round.
Malmo had a fantastic season behind them, winning both the domestic league and the cup as well. However, this year, they are not doing as well. The Blue Ones already lost the Cup Finals to Hacken and are sitting in fifth place with 27 points from 16 matches - already seven away from the top spot and with a game played more than first-placed Mjallbty. However, Europe is still only two points away, which has to be their goal this season.
Iberia 1999 became one of the best teams in Georgia and won their second title last year, securing them another European Qualifiers, their fifth ever. Unfortunately, they have never passed the third qualifying round in any European Qualifiers. This year, Iberia 1999 are doing well in the domestic league, considering they are at the top of the league's table. However, they will have a really challenging task in Europe of overcoming a two-goal deficit from the first leg.
Malmo vs Iberia 1999 pick: Malmo to win and cover the -1.5 AH spread
Malmo had their ups and downs lately, but after losing the Cup to Hacken, they started playing a lot better. Now, they won back-to-back games vs Norrkopiung and Iberia 1999 with a 3:1. Additionally, they are undefeated in the last five games.
Meanwhile, Iberia are on a bad mini-streak. They lost all three games (two in the Super Cup and one in the Champions League Qualifiers). Additionally, thus far, in Europe, they lost ten out of 16 matches - 62.5%.
Moreover, in the first h2h game, Malmo secured a pretty easy win, 3:1. Now, in Sweden, Iberia 1999 will have to open, and we believe that could easily backfire on them, considering just how easily Malmo scored in the first leg.
Considering all the above, we expect another comfortable win for the Swedish champs.

Malmo team news
Striker Daniel Tristan Gudjohnsen suffered a minor injury against Iberia 1999 and missed the last match against Norrkoping. We believe he will remain sidelined for the upcoming game.
Besides Gudjohnsen, the players who missed the previous games with injuries should remain sidelined - Erik Botheim, Anders Christiansen, Johan Dahlin, Stefano Holmquist, and Martin Olsson.
