La Liga action returns to Catalonia on Sunday evening as an in-form Barcelona welcomes Valencia to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

Barcelona vs Valencia Betting Tips: Barcelona to Win / Over 3.5 Goals

Barcelona come into this weekend's La Liga contest after scoring a sensational 5:4 comeback victory against Benfica on Tuesday. Trailing 3:1 at half-time, Raphina´s stunning injury time winner secured victory in a Champions League classic at the Stadium of Light.

Hansi Flick´s side have enjoyed an improved run of form in recent weeks, scoring 22 goals while winning five and drawing one of their last six fixtures. The free-scoring Blaugrana bagged exactly five goals in three of their last four matches including their stunning Super Cup victory against Real Madrid in Riyadh.

Usually reliable in their temporary home at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, Barca won eight successive matches in Catalonia before a surprise run of three successive defeats against Las Palmas, Leganes and Atletico Madrid. However, Flick´s men did bounce back to winning form with a comprehensive 5:1 win against Betis in their most recent outing on home soil.

Valencia arrives in Catalonia buoyed by an improved run of form under recently appointed boss Carlos Corberan. Los Che are unbeaten in four of their last five league matches while they picked up a huge 1:0 win against Real Sociedad in their most recent La Liga runout last weekend.

Still, despite their uptick in form which includes a pair of Copa del Rey victories against Eldense and Ourense CF, Corberan´s side remain deep in the relegation dogfight. Los Che sit 19th in the division, four points short of safety.

While Valencia have improved in the past month, I fancy the in-form hosts to claim another high-scoring win this weekend. Barcelona won 4:2 when these sides last met at this venue, and I´m banking on a similar outcome on Sunday.

I expect over 3.5 goals scored and a home win at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
