Vejle Boldclub will be looking to register their first win of the 2024-25 campaign on Friday when they play host to ninth placed AaB Fodbold on Friday evening.
The hosts finished the first part of last season in eleventh place and things have got worst this season. Mihai Teja’s side have suffered defeat in all their ten league games so far and also got knocked out of the Danish Cup in the second round by Bronshoj. However, the Reds will fancy their chances of picking up their first points of the campaign this week given that they avoided in their last meeting with AaB in the Superliga.
AaB meanwhile enter Friday’s game with plenty of confidence after registering their fourth league win of the campaign against Sonderjyske last weekend. Thanks to a hat-trick from Mathias Jorgensen the Reds went home with all three points while also keeping a clean sheet, but head coach Menno van Dam will be worried with his side’s away record.
