Trailing 3:1 from last week´s first leg in Czechia, Union St. Gilloise host Slavia Prague at the Stade Joseph Mariën in the second-leg of their Champions League qualification tie.

Another high-scoring contest seems likely on Tuesday as Belgians USG look to chase down a two-goal deficit at the Stade Joseph Mariën. Having looked near dead and buried in last week's contest in Prague, a late own goal from Alexander Buzek kept the Belgians in the tie ahead of the return in Brussels.

Boasting a strong recent home record, USG won five of their last six games at Stade Joseph Mariën and while still underdogs, cannot be discounted against their Czech opponents.

Indeed, Slavia have a pretty miserable away record in this competition. The Prague-based side lost nine and won only one of 14 UCL road games played since 2007. 

High-scoring outcomes have been frequent in Brussels. USG have seen over 2.5 goals scored in 13 of 18 home games played this year. An average of 3.2 goals were scored in those fixtures while 14 goals were scored in St. Gilloise´s last three matches.  

Now needing a two-goal victory, we can expect the hosts to get on the front foot against a Slavia side that enjoys a counter-attacking style. With those factors, I expect goals in this UCL qualifier.

Slavia are not especially consistent in this market, although five of their last eight matches did  see at least three goals scored. Still, with USG desperate for goals, we should be confident of an open contest with chances at both ends.

BTTS also looks a likely outcome, but I'm putting my faith in at least three goals scored in Tuesday's UCL qualifier in Brussels.
