Borussia Dortmund will be looking to record back to back league wins for the first time this season when they take on St Pauli at the Millerntor Stadion this weekend.
St Pauli’s form over the last few weeks has been very poor. The Kiezkicker come into Saturday's game on a three-game losing streak, failing to find the back of the net in all three matches. Their most recent outing was against Mainz last weekend at the MEWA ARENA, where they were held to under 1.5 shots on goal for the second game in a row.
Borussia Dortmund meanwhile continue to struggle for consistency this season. The Black Yellows were praised for their 3-0 win over Sporting in the first leg of the Champions League playoffs, only to lose 2-0 to Bochum in the league a couple of days later. But Niko Kovač's side showed just how good they can be on their day last time out when they thrashed Union Berlin 6-0, and their fans will be hoping for a similar performance against St. Pauli this weekend.
St. Pauli vs Borussia Dortmund Betting Tips: Over 2.5 goals
Dortmund showed how good they can be offensively on a good day with their 6:0 thrashing of Union Berlin last weekend. The Black and Yellows have also failed to score in just two of their last 21 Bundesliga matches. Only one of the last five produced less than three goals.
St Pauli are not also having the best of defences at the moment. Peter Németh’s side bring a run of nine consecutive games without clean sheet and shipped 2+ goals in four of the last five.
- Best Tip: Over 2.5 goals
- St Pauli vs Borussia Dortmund prediction: 1-3
