Arsenal will look to maintain their 100% start to the 2024-25 season when they welcome Brighton to the Emirates on Saturday lunchtime.

It's fair to say the hosts have done everything right so far this season. Mikel Arteta's side started the season with a 2-0 win over Lyon in the Emirates Cup and quickly followed that up with back to back league wins with the same score line, beating the likes of Wolves on the opening day and Aston Villa last weekend.

Brighton have also enjoyed a great start to the 2024-25 campaign. The Seagulls registered a comfortable 3-0 win over Everton on Match Day one and defied the odds to beat Erik ten Hag and his Manchester United side. Brighton also secured a 4-0 win over Crawley Town in midweek in the League Cup. All these successes deserve even more recognition in the wake of Roberto De Zerbi's departure.

Arsenal vs Brighton betting tips: Both teams to score

Brighton have failed to find the back of the net in each of their last two meetings with the Gunners but that run is likely to end this weekend. The Seagulls scored 17 goals in their five pre-season fixtures and that form has continued, with the team averaging three goals a game in their three competitive matches this season. Arteta's men also kept a clean sheet in just one of their last four meetings with Brighton.

Arsenal team news

Takehiro Tomiyasu will once again be unavailable to Arsenal boss Artena this weekend due to a knee injury but the defender is the hosts' only injury concern.

Leandro Trossard looked unhappy after coming on as a substitute against Aston Villa last weekend, but his goal in that game might see Artena start him against his former club on Saturday.
