After a sobering 122-99 defeat away against the Phoenix Suns, Ja Morant and the Grizzlies will look to bounce back in style, hosting a tricky Eastern Conference contender in Miami overnight.

Morant had almost half of his 15 points at the foul line (7-of-10), where Monty Williams' players kept him to another low-scoring game - he averaged 14.5 PPG in two previous H2H meetings this term. 

Jonas Valanciunas led by example with an efficient double-double (24 pts, 17 rebounds), while SG duo Dillon Brooks (13 pts) and Grayson Allen (15 pts, four ast) were the other Grizzlies into double-digit scoring. 

Valanciunas is capable of leading by example, as evidenced by his ten 20-point games this term, though it's clear their success is centred around Morant and his ability - or lack thereof - to produce efficient shooting numbers.
