Real Zaragoza will look to continue their impressive start to the 2024-25 Spanish second division season when they host Elche this weekend.
The last two seasons have been disastrous for the hosts. Los Maños finished 13th in the 2022-23 campaign and things got even worse for them last year, with the team finishing in the bottom eight. However, head coach Víctor Fernández has got Real Zaragoza playing good football this term. The hosts sit just two points off the top of the tree and have yet to suffer a defeat this season.
Elche have simply picked up where they left off last season. The visitors ended the 2023-24 campaign on a six-match winless streak, which included four defeats, and Eder Sarabia's side have already lost twice this term.
