An entertaining contest should be on the cards in Jakobstad this weekend as FF Jaro go in search of back-to-back Veikkausliiga victories when they take on IFK Mariehamn on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts return to Centralplan in high spirits after an excellent 3:2 win at HJK on Wednesday evening. A brace from Kerfala Cissoko - his eighth and ninth goals of the season - secured a third road victory of the season for Niklas Vidjeskog's side. 

Despite that midweek success, FF remains 10th in the 12-team division, after a slow start to the season saw them win just two of their first 11 games.

An excellent choice for goal chasers, particularly in recent weeks, each of Jaro's last six matches finished with BTTS and a minimum of three goals scored. In fact, all but one of those six games saw four goals or more. 

IFK Mariehamn comes into Sunday's Veikkausliiga matchup in disappointing form with just one win claimed in six previous league fixtures. Placed ninth in the division, one point ahead of Jaro, Gary Williams side have struggled for form in the past month, conceding 13 goals in heavy recent losses against Klubi 04 (4:3), VPS (5:1) and SJK (4:1). 

As a consequence of their defensive fragilities, six of their last eight games finished with over 2.5 goals scored. IFK leaked 21 goals during that period.

Considering the high-scoring nature of both sides' recent results, we can be confident of seeing at least three, or potentially four or more goals scored on Sunday.

Over 2.5 goals is my best bet, while those looking for value could take a chance on four goals or more at Centralplan.
