Since returning to the Premier League, Crystal Palace, interestingly, never finished above the 10th place on the table, but also never below the 15th position. The start of the 2024/25 season suggested Crystal Palace could have some problems, but after a recent good run, they moved to their more natural place on the table. 

Arsenal, every of the previous few seasons, started with an ambition to fight for the title, but they failed every time. This year, Manchester City doesn't seem like the team that will win the trophy, but Arsenal is again behind, this time six points behind Liverpool. 

Interestingly, Crystal Palace and Arsenal met the last time on Wednesday, when Mikel Arteta's team won 3-2 at home in the EFL Cup quarterfinal. The home side had ball possession and a higher number of shots on the goal, but a victory wasn't easy at all as Arsenal secured progress to the semifinal in the last twenty minutes of the match. Now, the teams will head to Selhurst Park for a rematch. Crystal Palace won only one of the last seven games at the home stadium against Arsenal, but if they show a performance from the cup quarterfinal, Oliver Glasner's team should have a chance for at least one point.

Crystal Palace scored at least one goal in each of the last six matches. On the other hand, Arsenal scored at least one goal in eight of the previous nine games. We should expect both teams to score in the upcoming tie at Selhurst Park.
