Sampdoria make the trip to Salerno with a two-goal advantage as they look to avoid relegation to Serie C. In a fiery contest, both sides were reduced to ten men before Marco Curto's late goal secured a 2:0 win for Samp as they claimed a vital first-leg lead in Genoa. 

Alberico Evani's side are now unbeaten in five matches, and will be confident of finishing the job against a Salernitana side potentially weakened by a reported outbreak of food poisoning within the camp.
