Inter Turku make the trip to Lahti in search of back-to-back Veikkausliiga victories for the first time this season, after a 3:1 win against Haka last weekend. Vesa Vasara´s side had lost five successive league matches before a double-strike from Timo Stavitski helped secure a much-needed win for Inter. 

On their travels, Turku have struggled badly, losing all five league matches played this season. Vasara´s men also leaked exactly three goals in each of their last four away defeats. They did at least manage to score in four of their five road fixtures this year. 

High-scoring outcomes have featured prominently in Inter´s fixtures. The visitors saw at least three goals scored in eight of ten league matches played this season, including all five away matches.

Hosts Lahti have also endured a tough start to the league season with only one win recorded from nine games played. Placed second from bottom with just six points to their name, Toni Lindberg´s side sit three points behind Inter ahead of Friday's Veikkausliiga contest.

Lahti have also seen plenty of goal action in recent matches with four of their last five league contests seeing over 2.5 goals scored. That outcome also occurred in seven of their last nine home league fixtures since August 2023.

While both teams have been short in form, I expect a high-scoring outcome on Friday, so I'm putting my faith in over 2.5 goals scored, with both teams also tipped to score.
