Rosenborg will be confident of getting back to winning form when they take the trip to Kristiansund in Sunday's Eliteserien contest. 

An excellent run of form since the start of the new season has seen Alfred Johansson's side win ten and lose just one of 15 games played across all competitions.

Generally consistent, Rosenborg have been strong on their travels. The Troillongan won three and lost just one of their last five away league fixtures. A dominant force in Norwegian football in years gone by, the visitors find themselves up to third in the division, seven points behind leaders Viking, having played one game fewer. 

A strong recent record in this fixture will only add to Rosenborg confidence this weekend. Johansson's men claimed victories in four of their seven most recent matches against Kristiansund, including a 4:0 win at this venue last December. 

While the Troillongan have enjoyed a strong start to their campaign, Kristiansund comes into Sunday's Eliteserien fixture in poor form, with defeats suffered in each of their last three matches. The hosts conceded four goals in two separate visits to Brann, including a 4:1 loss in last week's friendly encounter.

Particularly underwhelming in home fixtures, Amund Skiri's side have slipped to defeat in three of their last four games at Kristiansund Stadion. With Rosenborg solid on the road, another home reversal seems likely on Sunday.
