Bodo/Glimt have been the best team in Norway recently, winning four titles in the last five seasons. Last year was a super-close as the second-placed Brann finished just three points behind. This year, the team from Nordland County isn't performing at their usual level, considering they are in 5th place with 16 points, 13 points behind the top-spot Viking. Yes, they played four games fewer, but in order to keep up with Viking, they have to win a lot of points in those matches. Besides their mediocre performance in the Eliteserien, Bodo/Glimt had an early exit in the NM Cup, losing 1:0 to an OLOS Ligaen team - Aalesund. So, we can definitely say they are underperforming. However, their run in the Europa League was spectacular, reaching the Semi-Finals, where Tottenham eliminated them. Now, with the Europa League and the Summer break over, we expect them to consolidate and start playing better.
Brann, as we mentioned, fell short of winning the title to Bodo/Glimt. They were in the top spot two rounds before the end of the season, but they blew the opportunity after winning only one point. This year, Brann are looking good once again, as they are sitting in second place with 23 points, six points behind the top spot, but with one game played less. However, this Summer break probably came at the right moment because they started slowing down a bit and have won just two of the last six matches before the break.
Bodo/Glimt vs Brann pick: Over 3.5 goals
Bodo/Glimt have been really efficient in recent matches, scoring a total of 14 goals in the last four - 3.5 per game. Due to their strong offensive performance, they went over 3.5 goals in all four matches. Also, looking at their home games, we can see they were fantastic offensively, scoring two or more goals in 13 of the last 14 games and three or more goals on nine occasions - 64%.
Brann have been good for this bet in recent matches, as three of the last five games ended with four or more goals - 67%. Like Bodo/Glimt, Brann have been very efficient this season as well, averaging 2.0 goals per game in Eliteserien. Only Viking (2.83 per game) and Bodo/Glimt (2.5 gpm) averaged more goals thus far.
Additionally, examining the previous head-to-head games reveals a pattern of consistently high-scoring matches. The last five h2h matches ended with four or more goals, every time with both teams scoring. Considering the trend in the previous h2h games, both teams' offensive performance, and all the above, we firmly believe we should see at least four goals, most likely with both teams scoring once again.

Brann team news
A couple of days ago, the Champions League Qualifiers draw was decided. Brann will face off against Salzburg, and coach Freyr Alexandersson shared some thoughts with the media. He said they need to strengthen the squad before trying to reach the Group stage in Europe. "But if we are going to bring something now, I want quality. Not that we should bring someone just because of the number. I want the right personalities. With quality," the coach added.
