A place in the Suomen Cup quarter-finals will be at stake when SJK and KPV face off at the OmaSp Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho secured their spot in the sixth round by defeating Atlantis 3-2, while KPV overcame KTP 2-0 to reach this stage.
The hosts started their 2025 top-flight campaign in style, winning each of their first four matches, but this form quickly faded. Stevie Grieve’s side have not won any of their last seven league matches, suffering four defeats, and only just beat Atlantis in the fifth round.
All of KPV's last eight competitive games have been in the Suomen Cup. They began this season's tournament with a comfortable 10-0 win over VPV in the third round, but could not replicate this in the fourth round as they only beat RoPS on penalties after a 1-1 draw. They outperformed KTP in the fifth round with Wegye Wegye's brace being the major highlight and head coach Alexandre Ribeiro will hope to see the same performance from his team on Wednesday.
SJK vs KPV Betting Tips: Over 2.5 goals

KPV have also been involved in some entertaining games lately, especially away from home. Their last four away games produced four or more goals, including their 10-0 win over VPV in the third round.

SJK team news
Lauri Laine is doubtful for SJK this week, having been substituted after only 42 minutes in last weekend's draw with Oulu in the Finnish top flight.
The midfielder was replaced by Elias Mastokangas, who is in contention for a place in the starting XI against KPV but head coach Stevie Grieve has no other injury concerns.

KPV team news
Head coach Alexandre Ribeiro is expected to keep most of the team that started in the 2-0 win over KTP last time.
As such, Wegye Wegye will lead the line and will be looking to build on his brace in the previous round, while Ardy Mfundu will be the man to watch in defence.
