Back on top of the Premier League, Shamrock Rovers can make it four wins in a row when they take on St. Patrick's Athletic at Tallaght Stadium on Monday evening.
Shamrock Rovers vs St. Patrick's Athletic Betting Tips - Shamrock Rovers to Win
Shamrock Rovers come into Monday's Premier League contest in high spirits after they extended their winning run to three with an excellent 3:1 win at Waterford on Friday.
Late goals from Michael Noonan and Graham Burke secured a fine away victory for Stephen Bradley´s side, who now sit two points clear of nearest rivals Derry City as we approach the midway point of the Premier League season.
Strong in recent home fixtures, the Rovers claimed victories in four of their last six games at Tallaght Stadium, including a comfortable 3:0 success against Drogheda last week.
St Patrick´s Athletic return to action on Monday after an entertaining 3:2 win against Cork City on Friday evening. A remarkable turnaround saw Stephen Kenny´s side score twice in the dying embers to secure a thrilling home victory.
Less impressive in recent away fixtures, St Pats slipped to defeat in each of their last three road games, and they could come a cropper against the in-form league leaders.
While separated by only four points, Shamrock Rovers look a decent bet to claim the points on Monday. Bradley´s men have won five of eight previous home games against St Pats since 2022, including a 1:0 victory in March, and I'm taking a chance on a similar outcome this week.
A home win is my best bet at Tallaght Stadium.
