Haka was one of the teams that the pundits expected to have some problems in 2025, but they are playing well this season so far. Haka are a mid-table team and they are clearly looking much better than the teams that could have problems with avoiding relegation. Under the guidance of Andy Smith, Haka have found a solid rhythm, remaining unbeaten in their last three matches across all competitions. In the previous round, Haka won 2-1 at home against VPS. While their performance wasn't particularly dominant, their excellent efficiency was enough to secure all three points.
Gnistan are another team that could have problems this season. With 11 points from the first nine Veikkausliiga rounds, they've shown enough promise to keep themselves in the relegation conversation, but on the hopeful side of it. Recently, Jussi Leppalahti's side enjoyed a solid six-match unbeaten run, signaling growing stability. However, that momentum was halted in the last league fixture, where they fell 2–0 at home to Ilves. The guests dominated most of that game, and it wouldn't be undeserved even if they scored a few more goals.
Haka vs Gnistan pick: Over 2.5 goals
Haka and Gnistan had two h2h matches this season, and both games ended with at least four goals. We should expect another high-scoring match on Wednesday afternoon at Tehtaan Kentta.

Gnistan team news
Gnistan lost against Ilves in the previous round, and the head coach, Jussi Leppalahti, couldn't be satisfied. He said, "Today, we couldn't really adapt to Ilves' playing in the first half. We improved a bit in the second half, but Ilves deserved their win today. Of course, it's disappointing in the sense that the game is decided at the end."
