A place in the semi-finals of the Olympic Games in Paris will be at stake when Egypt U-23 and Paraguay U-23 go head to head in Marseille on Friday night.
The Pharaohs have shown resilience since the start of the tournament and that resilience is likely to see them return home with some medals. Rogerio Micale's side opened their campaign with a goalless draw against the Dominican Republic, before beating Uzbekistan 1-0 in Nantes. Paraguay meanwhile had an extremely poor start to the tournament. La Albirroja were thrashed 5-0 by Japan in their Group D opener but have responded well. Victories over the likes of Israel and Mali were enough to see Carlos Jara Saguier's side finish second in their Group and book a place in the knockout rounds.
