A likely entertaining Premier League contest takes place at London Stadium on Thursday evening as West Ham host Bournemouth. 

West Ham vs Bournemouth Betting Tips - Over 2.5 Goals

Both teams come into Thursday's contest with plenty of reasons to be confident of their chances of picking up a vital victory.

West Ham remain a strong side at the London Stadium and come into this fixture having won four and lost only one of their last eight home EPL matches. Unbeaten in their last five on home soil, the Hammers were held to a surprise goalless draw by Brighton in their last fixture at the London Stadium.

Flying high in sixth spot in the EPL, the Hammers retain hopes of European qualification but can expect a really tough test against a Bournemouth team revitalised under Spanish boss Andoni Iraola. The Cherries make the journey to London having won four of their last five away EPL matches and now find themselves up to 12th in the division, nine points clear of the dreaded drop zone. 

On their travels, goals can usually be expected when Bournemouth are involved. The away side have seen over 2.5 goals netted in nine of ten away EPL games this season. While West Ham are less consistent in the goal markets, it´s hard to see a repeat of last week´s dull affair against Brighton. Bournemouth have not seen a goalless draw in any of their last 43 away Premier League contests. 

A tough match to call with both teams in good form, I fancy this could be an entertaining affair with goals at both ends. West Ham have kept clean sheets in their last three home matches but Bournemouth´s away record suggests goals should be on the cards. The visitors have only failed to score in one away game this season.

Considering the factors mentioned above, I'm taking a chance on over 2.5 goals with an expectation that we should also see BTTS at the London Stadium.
