Villarreal are a team that were mostly between 5th and 7th in the last decade, constantly securing Europe. However, this year, they looked terribly for about two-thirds of the season and Europe looked very distant. Still, with a strong last three months, the Yellow Submarine climbed from 15th to 9th place. Right now, they are 9th with 45 points, seven away from 7th-placed Betis. So, 7th place is pretty unrealistic, considering only four rounds are left. Still, the 8th-placed team may also get the opportunity to play Europe. Currently, Valencia are 8th, with only two points more than Villarreal. 

Sevilla are having a really poor La Liga season for the second year in a row. Last year, they saved it by winning the Europa League, but this year, it was a total disaster, at least by their standard. For most of the season, the Andalusian team looked more like a relegation contender than a Europe-chasing team. Still, similarly to Villarreal, Sevilla had a strong last part of the season. Right now, they are 12th with 41 points, and it is almost impossible for them to move significantly up or down.

Villarreal are by far the best team in the league for this type of bet, as 68% of their games finished with at least three goals. Their offense has been good throughout the season, on par with the best teams in the league, and we do not doubt their ability to score a couple of goals at home against almost anyone. However, the main reason why they aren't higher on the league's table is their terrible defense! So far, with 58 conceded goals, only 19th-placed Granada and 20th-placed Almeria allowed more goals than Villarreal. 

Sevilla are in very good form, having won 13 points in the last five matches while scoring nine goals - 1.8 per match. So, scoring at least once or twice against one of the worst defensive teams in the league is entirely possible. Mostly due to a good offense, Sevilla were over 2.5 goals in two of the last three matches.

Considering all the above, we strongly believe the game will see at least three goals, most likely with both teams scoring.
