Uruguay are one of the best teams in both the North and South American continents. They were especially successful in Copa America, where they have 15 titles and are tied with Argentina for the most titles so far. They entered the tournament as the 3rd favorite by the bookies and proved they are indeed one of the leading contenders for the title after easily dismantling Panama 3:1. Now, with a potential win over one of the worst teams in the tournament, Uruguay would secure the second stage of Copa America.
Bolivia are #84 on the FIFA World Ranking List and the worst team in the South America region. In the past, they had some success in Copa America, even winning one title. But those days are long over. In the last three Copa America, they finished the tournament in the group stage while failing to win a single point every time. In this year's Copa America, Bolivia started the competition with a 2:0 loss against the USA, and it seems that winning a point or even scoring a goal would be a challenge.
Uruguay vs Bolivia pick: Uruguay to win and cover the -2 AH spread
Uruguay just beat Panama 3:1. Even though Panama had their chances, the difference in quality is simply too great, especially when it comes to finishing. So, if they could overwhelm Panama, they could definitely do that against Bolivia. Additionally, Uruguay were brilliant in the World Cup Qualifiers, where they won four of six games while beating teams like Chile, Brazil, and Argentina. If we take a closer look, we can see that Uruguay covered the -1.5 spread in their last eight wins, and as we stated, they faced some outstanding teams.
Bolivia are in terrible form. With the latest loss in the Copa America against USA, they are on a four-game losing streak while scoring only one goal. They are a team that heavily relies on their home-pitch advantage and whenever they aren't playing at home on a high altitude, they really struggle.
In the last ten h2h games, Uruguay won seven times while covering the -1.5 AH spread on all seven occasions. The only three times when Bolivia avoided defeat was in Bolivia.
Considering all the above, anything but a big win for Uruguay would be a massive surprise for us.

Uruguay team news
After a 3:1 win over Panama, coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media. He said they would not get carried away by this win and that even though they win, they have to be even better. When asked about their expectations about Copa America, the coach did not want to give a straightforward answer, saying they are taking one match at a time.
Luis Suarez didn't play in the first match, as coach Marco Bielsa was probably trying to save the 37-year-old Uruguayan legend for more important matches. We shouldn't expect him in the starting lineup at this stage in his career, but he could be an incredible asset in the final 10-15 minutes of matches where Uruguay needs a goal.

Bolivia team news
After a 2:0 loss against the USA, coach Antonio Carlos Zago spoke to the media. He was unhappy and said he thinks they can be a lot better. The coach said an early conceded goal changed the course of the game and noted they were much better in the second half after making several changes. Additionally, the coach was especially unhappy with their defense, saying that it had been a problem for a while now and that the players were losing confidence in themselves.
