Group E comes to a dramatic conclusion on Wednesday as Ukraine and Belgium battle it out for a place in the knockout phase.

Ukraine vs Belgium Betting Tips - Belgium to Win

For the first time in European Championship history, Group E sees all four nations sitting with three points after two games played.

Now, In a dramatic Euro 2024 Group E finale, Ukraine and Belgium, the pre-tournament favorites to qualify from the section,  face off in a must-win clash. Both teams revived their campaigns with victories in their second matches, but Ukraine currently sit at the bottom of the table on goal difference.

Ukraine bounced back from a shock 3:0 defeat against Romania with a superb 2:1 comeback victory against Slovakia. Now with their fate in their own hands - a win guarantees them a top-two spot and potentially even the top spot if they outscore Romania. However, the Ukranians record at this tournament is not great, with defeat suffered in nine of 11 previous matches before the win against the Slovaks.

A draw could also secure third place for Ukraine, and a possible last-16 berth, while even a loss might not send them home, depending on the outcome of the Romania-Slovakia match.

Belgium, currently second in Group E, are in a comfortable position, knowing that a draw or better against Ukraine will secure their place in the knockout stages. A win coupled with a draw or loss for Slovakia against Romania would even send them through as group winners. However, a loss combined with Romania earning at least a point would result in a disappointing group-stage exit for Belgium.

With so much at stake, this is an incredibly tough match to call but Belgium did look strong in their win against Romania, and with top spot on the line, I fancy Dominic Tedesco´s side to secure a vital victory in Stuttgart.

I´m backing Belgium to win, and don't be surprised if both teams score in a likely competitive contest at Stuttgart Arena.

Ukraine team news

Serhiy Rebrov has a fully fit squad available with Vitaliy Mykolenko returning from injury. After a much-improved display against Slovakia, Rebrov is unlikely to make dramatic changes, although Roman Yaremchuk should start after scoring the winner as a substitute last time out.
