Tromso came to this season after the best one in the last decade and one of the best in the club's history. They finished 3rd, on a level with points with 2nd-placed Brann. Although everyone expected them to continue to play well this season, the start of the season has been disappointing as they were in last place for the majority of the season. Still, it seems they started playing better after winning seven points in the last three rounds. Right now, they have ten points - tied with four other teams and only two points away from the last-placed Sandefjord.

Since returning to Eliteserien in 2020, Lillestrom have been among the best teams in Norway, finishing fourth twice and sixth once. However, this season has been a disaster, and their only good games came in the Cup. The impression is that they are capable of much better, but after losing back-to-back games vs Odd and Fredrikstad, it is clear that this season will be tough for the five-time Norwegian Champions.
