Following Tottenham's elimination from the FA Cup (1:0 vs Manchester City), the Spurs will welcome Brentford in the Premier League 22nd round at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. 

Tottenham made a big turnaround over the Summer, selling their legend, Harry Kane, and adding some new faces, including the new coach Ange Postecoglou. The season started excellently for the Spurs as they held the first place in the Premier League after ten rounds. However, due to a poor stretch in November, they dropped to 5th place. Still, they are only three points away from the Champions League spots but already eight away from the league's leader, Liverpool. Considering they are losing pace with Liverpool in the league and were already eliminated from the FA Cup and Carabao Cup earlier, it looks like this will be another season without the title for Tottenham.

Since Brentford arrived in the Premier League in the 2021/22 season, they have quickly become one of the most stable teams, finishing 13th and 9th. This season, the popular Bees had an additional problem to worry about as they were without their key player, Ivan Toney, for the first 19 rounds due to breaching betting rules. On his arrival, Toney scored and helped Brentford win 3:2 vs Nottingham, stopping a seven-game winless streak. Currently, the Bees are 14th with 22 points, six points away from the danger zone.

Tottenham recently won five of the last eight games, failing to win only against good teams - Manchester City, United, and Brighton. At home, the Spurs have been good throughout the season, winning eight of 12 games in all competitions. Additionally, the Spurs have been very successful at home against teams from the bottom half of the league's table, winning every home game against teams from 10th to 20th place on the league table. 

Before winning 3:2 vs Nottingham in the last game, Brentford were on a terrible run, losing eight of ten games! The only two games they avoided were at home, against Wolves and Luton. Generally speaking, Brentford are having massive problems away from home and have lost five in a row (one after ET) with 12 conceded goals! 

Tottenham showed they had very few problems at home against teams from the lower half of the league's table. Considering that and what we have seen from Brentford on the road, we strongly believe that Tottenham should secure all three points at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
