Last year, Taunton finished 14th, nowhere close to the danger zone. This year, the Peacocks had an excellent start, and it looked like they might even challenge for the Playoffs. However, after that good, they really struggled and are now in 20th place, just two points away from the danger zone, but with four games fewer. So, even though they are close to the danger zone, with a couple of wins, they could make a big step forward in securing survival.

Chippenham are having a pretty similar season to the last one when they finished 13th, winning 62 points. Currently, they are averaging the same number of points per game as the previous season (1.3) and are on pace for another mid-table finish. With only eight rounds left, it is very hard to expect they would move significantly up or down in the standings.

Taunton haven't been great offensively throughout the season, scoring 38 goals in 34 rounds. However, lately, we could see them scoring six goals in the last three games, which is way better than their average. So, we believe they could score at home vs Chippenham, which haven't been great defensively. 

Chippenham won back-to-back games with 3:1 against a playoff contender, Worthington, and the best team in the league, Yeovil. They are in excellent form, but their offense has been good throughout the season, so scoring a goal against Taunton shouldn't be a problem.

In the first h2h game this season, we have seen a 3:3 draw. Additionally, all four h2h games between these teams finished with both teams scoring. Considering all the above, we believe that both teams should score in this National League South match.
