St. Patrick's Athletic come into Monday's Premier Division contest looking for a third successive victory after back-to-back wins in the past week.

After claiming an excellent 3:0 win at Bray Wanderers in the Leinster Senior Cup, Stephen Kenny´s side then picked up three points with a 2:1 win against Galway earlier this week. 

Up to seventh in the division, St Pat´s will now feel confident of claiming another victory against a Dundalk side that have struggled badly in recent weeks.

The visitors arrive at Richmond Park winless in 18 of their last 20 games since the start of February. Currently bottom of the Premier Division, Jonathan Daly´s men find themselves ten points behind the home side, 18 matches into the season.

Away from home, Dundalk have fallen to defeat in seven of their last eight league fixtures, including a 1:0 loss at this venue in March.

St Pat´s also have a strong recent H2H record against Dundalk. The Saints won five and drew two of their last seven meetings in Dublin. Dundalk have won just two of their last 13 contests since April 2022.

Considering the H2H record, and recent form, a home win seems likely on Monday. I'm putting my money on St Patrick's Athletic to claim the points at Richmond Park.
