However, Northern Ireland are without a loss in the last three matches, so maybe things are improving for Michael O'Neill's squad. Their last game was in March, when Northern Ireland won 1-0 in a friendly against Scotland. Guests were fortunate to win there as the home side had 73% ball possession and 11 shots more than O'Neill's team. Northern Ireland will need even more luck to avoid defeat in the upcoming friendly in Palma de Mallorca.
