After two rounds, all four teams in Group E have three points and all four have a realistic chance to progress to the knockout phase. Romania and Slovakia could progress to the next phase even with a draw.

After an impressive 1-0 win against Belgium, Slovakia suffered their first defeat at EURO 2024 in the game against Ukraine (2-1). The teams had the same amount of shots on the goal and almost the same xG, but in the end, Sergiy Rebrov's team picked up all three points. Slovakia enters the third and decisive round with three points and a 2:2 goal difference, so Slovakia will progress to the next phase with a win and probably with a draw. 

Although all four teams have three points, Romania are at the top of the group E at the moment because of a 3:2 goal difference. Romania started EURO with a tremendous 3-0 victory against 3-0. Edward Iordanescu's team came back to the Earth after the second round when they lost 2-0 against Belgium. The Belgians were significantly better as they doubled Romanian xG. Iordanescu's team lost that match, but with a draw, they will almost certainly progress to the knockout phase.

Both teams, Slovakia and Romania, will probably progress to the next phase with a win in the last round. We shouldn't expect a game with too many risks in the h2h game between these two teams in the final round, so a draw is very possible.
